About Me

In 2011, I began my public service journey at the Ministry of Health, where I developed skills in policy compliance and public sector operations. But I knew I wanted to do more, to grow, learn, and find new ways to contribute. So I traveled to the United States to continue my education.

I studied political science at Utah Valley University in Utah, earning a bachelor's degree in political science and an associate degree in humanities and social sciences. During my time there, I served as vice president of the Foreign Affairs Club and the Sustainable Mountain Development Club. I also represented the university at United Nations conferences, including the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW63 and CSW65). Our delegation’s efforts led to official recognition in the U.S. Congressional Record by Representative Ben McAdams.

I believe that volunteer work plays a key role in building strong communities and creating a sense of purpose and connection. Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 aims to reach one million volunteers, and I’ve contributed to that national effort by working with more than 14 organizations across education, health, and community development. My total volunteer hours have now passed 1,500.

For me, contributing to my country goes beyond job titles or fields. Every honest effort matters. This website is where I share that journey. Not just what I did, but why it matters.

في عام 2011، بدأت مسيرتي المهنية في وزارة الصحة بدافع الإسهام في تطوير العمل الحكومي. خلال تلك الفترة، اكتسبت خبرة في متابعة الالتزام بالأنظمة والإجراءات التنظيمية داخل القطاع الصحي. وبعد سنوات من العمل، قررت السفر إلى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية لإكمال دراستي وتوسيع معارفي في مجالات ترتبط بالشأن العام والخدمة المجتمعية.

درستُ العلوم السياسية في جامعة يوتا فالي بولاية يوتا، وحصلت على درجة البكالوريوس في العلوم السياسية، بالإضافة إلى الدبلوم المشارك في العلوم الإنسانية والاجتماعية. خلال فترة دراستي، توليت مناصب قيادية كنائب رئيس لكل من نادي الشؤون الخارجية ونادي الجبال المستدامة، ومثّلت الجامعة في مؤتمرات أممية مثل لجنة وضع المرأة (CSW) في دورتها الثالثة والستين والخامسة والستين. وكان تتويج هذه الجهود باعتراف رسمي في السجل الرسمي للكونغرس الأمريكي من قبل النائب بن ماك آدامز.

Oversee compliance with attendance policies and professional conduct. Appointed by the CEO of the Jeddah Second Health Cluster to serve on the Discipline Committee for the 2024 to 2027 term, contributing to case reviews, investigations, and internal accountability efforts.

Conferences

During my time at Utah Valley University, I participated in international forums focused on diplomacy, sustainable development, and civil society. These included the 63rd and 65th sessions of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, and the UN Civil Society Conference in Salt Lake City.

These experiences showed me how advocacy works on a global level. As part of CSW63, I contributed to a student-led parallel event titled “Student Engaged Learning to Empower Mountain Women and Girls”, where we discussed strategies to support women and girls in mountain communities with diplomats, educators, and civil society leaders.

One of the most meaningful moments was seeing our efforts officially recognized in the U.S. Congressional Record by Congressman Ben McAdams.

Standing outside the United Nations building with our CSW63 team was one of those moments that brought everything into focus. It wasn’t just a snapshot, it reflected the sense of purpose we all carried.

Just moments before our parallel event, we proudly wore our UN credentials and prepared to advocate for including mountain women and girls in the SDGs and the NGO document submitted to the UN General Assembly.

Being part of the UN parallel event was the result of months of dedicated teamwork. Together, we called for the inclusion of mountain women and girls in global development goals.

During our visit, we met with Ambassador Aksoltan Ataýewa, the most senior ambassador to the United Nations, representing Turkmenistan. The conversation offered valuable insight into diplomatic perspectives and global collaboration on women’s issues.

We also had the honor of meeting Ambassador Mahmadamin Mahmadaminov, Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the United Nations. He encouraged our advocacy work and shared perspectives on regional development challenges.

Our efforts led to a meeting with U.S. Congressman Ben McAdams, who later acknowledged our contributions in the U.S. Congressional Record. That recognition remains deeply meaningful to all of us.

At the conclusion of CSW63, I was honored to receive a certificate from the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in recognition of our advocacy efforts. It was a moment that showed the global value of our work.

After receiving the certificate, I took a moment to express gratitude to Utah Valley University, our faculty, and our mentor whose support made our participation possible.

Earlier in 2019, I participated in the United Nations Civil Society Conference in Salt Lake City. I engaged with global delegates and youth leaders on sustainable development, representing student voices from Utah Valley University.

In 2021, I contributed to the 65th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW65), held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This continued my commitment to advocating for mountain communities and gender inclusion on a global platform.
